Chiraq's dreaming Chirak rêve d'un autre monde
Chiraq is dreaming of creating an anti-American axis with France at the lead. Plantu attempts to support the party line by showing the US as the oppressor of Africa. This is all seriously lacking in consistency given France's GMO policy which is contributing to African famine and given the refusal of Europeans to open their agricultural imports to African produce. Europe in general, and in particular France, could not care less about Africa and some people who work on these exchanges are starting to go on record publicly saying as much. Chirak rêve de fabriquer un pôle anti-américain autour de la France. Plantu essaie d'apporter de l'eau à son moulin en montrant les USA comme les opprimeurs de ces africains. La démarche manque sérieusement de cohérence étant donné la politique française sur les OGM qui aggrave les famines en Afrique ainsi que le refus européen d'ouvrir ses marchés à l'importation aux produits agricoles africains. L'Europe en général et la France en particulier se foutent pas mal des Africains et des gens qui travaillent sur ces questions commençent à en parler publiquement.

Flammarion goes for broke Chez Flammarion, on aime la casse
Flammarion, which had already glorified homicide bombers in its collection for teenagers, just published a first novel by Lola Lafont. The book promotes violent anti-globalisation activist groups. Lafon was 'discovered' by Frédéric Beigbeder, novelist who was consultant for the French Communist Party during the last Presidential elections. Beigbeder is a sort of a hyper-effeminate pseudo-intellectual (there are alot of those in France) who operates within Thierry Ardisson's stable of Paris intelligentsia whores and armchair revolutionairies. Flammarion, qui faisait déjà l'éloge des attentats homicides dans sa collection jeune, vient de publier le premier roman de Lola Lafon. Le livre fait la promotion des groupuscules violents de la mouvance anti-mondialisation. Lafon était 'découverte' par Frédéric Beigbeder, écrivain qui conseillait le PCF lors des dernières élections présidentielles. Beigbeder est une espèce de pseudo-intello hyper-effeminé (il y en a un paquet en France) qui évolue dans l'écurie de putains de l'intelligentsia parisienne et de rebelles endimanchés à Thierry Ardisson.
