Who let the dogs out? Bête noire encensée par une nuit blanche
Paris mayor Bertrand Delanoë has bestowed honorary French citizenship on Mumia Abu-Jamal, convicted cop killer, who is on Pennsylvania death row. In an anti-American hatefest, speakers present at the ceremony bleated out support for Mumia and condemned American unilateralism, the US military presence in Iraq, and the use of the death penalty in the US. Le maire de Paris Bertrand Delanoë a accordé la citoyenneté française, à titre honoraire, à Mumia Abu-Jamal, jugé coupable pour le meurtre d'un policier, et qui se trouve actuellement au couloir de la mort en Pennsylvania aux Etats-unis. Lors d'une grande messe anti-américaine, les invités ont beuglé au sujet de leur soutien pour Mumia et ils ont condamné l'unilatéralisme américain, les actions militaires américaines en Irak, et la peine de mort aux Etats-unis.
