Who looks stupid now? Qui a l'air con maintenant?
Check out pics of the huge French anti-war demonstration at the Bastille at 12H30.The French work only 35 hours a week, have long lunch breaks, it is a mild pre-spring day here in Paris, and the Bastille is one of the major 'meeting places' in the city, and this is the best they can do? Looks like Chirac is taking French support for granted.

UPDATE: A Paris pro-dictator demonstration this evening was attended by approximately 1000 participants. Organizers had announced 10,000 demonstrators but did admit themselves that turn-out would be low. The entire gathering fit very neatly in one Paris city street (without using the sidewalks). Quite a few old communists and young guys with Bob Marley hair-dos. More photos on the Dissident Frogman's page (see above). 		Zieutez un peu ces photos de la grande démonstration anti-guerre des français à la Bastille à 12H30. Les français ne bossent que 35 heures par semaine et ils ont des pauses déjeuner intérminables. Aujourd'hui il fait un temps doux d'avant printemps, et ils ne peuvent pas faire mieux que ça? On dirait qu'en ce qui concerne le soutien de ses compatriotes, Chirac prend cela par dessus la jambe.

DERNIERES INFOS: Environ 1000 participants ont fait une manifestation pro-dictature ce soir à Paris. Les organisateurs avaient annoncé 10.000 manifestants mais avaient également laissé entendre que la participation en serait nettement inférieure. Toute la manifestation se casait sans problème dans une rue devant les Jardins de Luxembourg (sans déborder sur les trottoirs). Il y avait pas mal de communistes sur le retour et des jeunes coiffés à la Bob Marley. Les photos sont chez le Dissident Frogman (voir ci-dessus).
