According to Le Canard Enchaîné dated June 25, the Iranians called in by French authorities are being held for 'possession of military equipment'. The 'military equipment' in question is GPS devices. All of this seems off the mark, but that should be expected given that the French prefer Scuds over JDAMs. Selon Le Canard Enchaîné du 25/6, on reproche aux militants iraniens interpellés 'la détention de matériels de type militaires'. Les 'matériels de type militaires' dont il s'agit sont des récepteurs GPS. Pas très précis tout ça, mais il ne faut pas s'en étonner étant donné que les français préfèrent les Scud aux JDAM.
